Congratulations to the Sean Davis and Stratton Lingsch whose band, Let us Not Forget, competed against 11 bands from around NH and took 2nd place at Kingswood’s BATTLE OF THE BANDS on Saturday.
Join the TTCC and Project Promise for the last HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT OUT for this school year. Come mini-golfing plus bumper boat rides and basketball next Wednesday, June 3rd at Pirates Cove. Food and transportation provided. Pick up permission slips outside of the main office.
There will be an opportunity to participate in a STUDIO ART E.L.O. this summer. The course will investigate multiple drawing and painting techniques and will meet in the afternoon for three weeks in July. See. Mrs. Hutchins for more information or to register.

Fall Sports Teams sign up are on the wall outside of Mr. Cofran’s office. All paperwork will be on-line by mid-June and is due back 7 days before your first practice or tryout.
M&S TRACK MEET RESULTS: The girls finished 5th out of 23 teams. Emma Erler is the Class M champion in the 800-meter. The boys finished 4th out of 24 teams with only one point out of third place. Chris Plankey helped with 24 of Newfound’s 46 points by winning the 400, 3rd in the 800, and anchoring the 2nd place 4×4 relay team. Dustin Sewall helped out with a 4th in 800, the opening 4×4 leg, and opening leg on the 3rd place 4×8 relay team. TJ Taverna took 4th place in the high jump and Zac Morel had a 5th in the mile. Rounding out the relay teams that earned points were Derek Mitchell, Tyler Parker, Jake Lundberg, and Bob Deragon. Going on to the Meet of Champions is Emma Erler, Megan Patten (shot), girls’ 4×4 team (Katie Dorey, Kelsey Mattson, Abby Erler, and Emma Erler), boys’ 4×4, boys’ 4×8m, Chris Plankey, Zac Morel, and Dan Towle (discus).
There will be a boys basketball meeting on Wednesday, June 3rd at 3 pm in room 310A. Any player interested in SUMMER BASKETBALL should plan to attend.
VARSITY BASEBALL lost t Farmington, 8-3, and Inter-Lakes, 9-0. JV BASEBALL lost to Farmington, 7-5.
The VARSITY SOFTBALL team had a very successful weekend defeating Farmington (10-4) and Inter-Lakes (4-1) for their most wins since 2005. Congratulations, Girls, for finishing strong. JV SOFTBALL defeated Farmington (7-1) to finish with a record of 8 wins and 6 losses.
