At the Capital Area Cross Country Invitational this weekend, Zac Morel won a medal as he finished 7th out of 121 boys running, and Vee Santry led the Newfound girls with a 38th-place finish out of 89 runners. Zac was followed by Jake Lundberg, Dustin Sewall, Sean Coleman, Jake Morel, and Mike Bruning. Vee was followed by Nicole Stevens, Katie Dorey, and Jess Yeaton.
We have a jam-packed week of playoff action for our fall teams:
- Field hockey will be playing at Exeter High School on Thursday at 5pm in the state semi-finals against Derryfield. The winner will play at 2:30 on Sunday at Bedford in the State Championship.
- Soccer will be playing at White Mt. on Thursday at 2pm. The winner will play at 2pm on Sunday at a location to be determined.
- Volleyball will be playing at Sunapee on Thursday at 6pm. The winner will play at 6pm on Saturday at a location to be determined.
- Football will be playing at Raymond at 7pm Friday night in a regular-season match.
- Cross country will be participating in the Class M Championship meet at Derryfield Park in Manchester on Saturday at 1pm.
